Frequently Asked Questions
What do I get when I buy a pattern?
You get an instant download — a ZIP file containing the pattern image files, delivered the moment your payment completes. There is nothing to ship and nothing to wait for. Your download link arrives by email, so keep that email safe.
Can I use these patterns commercially?
Yes. Every pattern is royalty-free for commercial use. You can put them on products you sell, use them for print on demand, fabric, packaging, stationery, digital products and client work. There are no ongoing fees and no limits on how many items you make or sell.
Can I use them for print on demand?
Yes, and it is one of the most common uses. Print-on-demand platforms including Etsy, Redbubble, Printify, Printful and Society6 are all fine. You may not, however, resell or redistribute the pattern files themselves as digital products.
What is not allowed?
You may not resell, share or redistribute the pattern files as-is, or as part of another digital-product bundle, clipart pack or design asset. The licence covers using the artwork in your own work — not reselling the artwork itself.
Do I need to credit Moore and Mountain?
No. Attribution is not required, though it is always appreciated when you feel like sharing where a design came from.
What file formats are included?
Most patterns are supplied as high-resolution image files suitable for print and digital use. The exact contents vary by design, and the formats included are listed on each product page.
What is a seamless pattern?
A seamless pattern is artwork built so that its edges align perfectly when tiled. Repeat it across any surface — fabric, wrapping paper, a website background — and no visible joins or seams appear between the tiles.
Can I get a refund?
Because these are instant digital downloads, purchases are not generally refundable once the files have been delivered. If a file is faulty, will not open, or is not what the product page described, get in touch and we will put it right.
I lost my files. Can I download them again?
Your original download link stays valid, so the quickest route is to find the order email and use it again. If you cannot find it, get in touch with the email address you ordered with and we will resend your files.
